Early Marshall Amplifiers have a serial number prefixed by JTM. That stands for ‘Jim & Terry Marshall’. Terry, son of Jim, was there at the beginning and has seen them all – even jamming with the likes of Jimi Hendrix. Although the name ‘Marshall’ is synonymous with guitars, Terry’s main instrument is the saxophone.

Guitarist / vocalist, Robert Hokum, a long standing fixture of the local music scene he’s an ‘old school Hanwellian’ having gone to Oaklands school! Probably best known locally for having founded the prestigious Ealing Blues Festival in 1987, he’s been involved with the Hanwell Hootie since its inception in 2013. Both Terry and Robert appear in the documentary film about the birth of British Rock music ‘Suburban Steps To Rockland’.
