Sammy Mavis Jr is the alter ego of Sarah-Louise Young, a writer, performer and director. Her award-winning Cabaret Whore shows have toured internationally and she has appeared in the West End with, Julie Madly Deeply, Fascinating Aida and Showstopper!, the improvised musical.

Her “An Evening without Kate Bush” continues to tour, and she last visited The Hootie as troubled French chanteuse, La Poule Plombée.
