Sophie Stewart is an indie singer-songwriter, now backed by a five piece band, based in West London. Flitting between confidence and vulnerability, her music explores the themes of identity, longing and belonging as she hurtles through her twenties. She’s influenced by artists like Courtney Barnett, Marika Hackman and Julia Jacklin, weaving observational songwriting with gritty, melodic guitar lines. Her punchier songs are best played with windows rolled down, whilst others call for eyes closed, lights out listening. Having just released her debut EP ‘Don’t You Want a Piece of Me?’, she hopes to bring a fuller, high energy sound to more venues and festivals in 2026.
