TJ is a Guitarist, Bassist, Arranger, Producer, Songwriter, Tutor and Mentor.
His first big influence in music is the Beatles which he heard as a ten year old boy;
his second big influence is the amazing Jimi Hendrix who blew his mind when
he heard him for the very first time and has been a lasting influence on his life ever since
T J has performed with many notable performers like Chaka Khan, Madeleine Bell, Linda Lewis, Hamish Stewart the Mighty Sparrow Shadow Aston “family man” Barret, bassist for Bob Marley and the Wailers and many more too numerous to mention.
Amongst T J’s other influences are Charlie Parker ,Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery,
Magic Slim, Buddy Guy, Robert Johnson, George Benson, the three kings BB, Albert
and Freddy.  The Brothers Johnson who was also a big influence on him not forgetting the great Fela Kuti of Nigeria and also Thomas Mapfumo of Zimbabwe.  Last but not least is the hardest working man in show business James Brown because James Brown is the ultimate performer and the most sampled artist in the history of popular music and a great spokesman for the civil rights movement.
