Viaduct Meadow is a great space for families at the Hootie (but don’t forget the Chill Zone, that pretty cool too). However, we do ask that everyone under 16yrs is off-site before 9pm
Accessibility
The Hanwell Hootie Music Festival is free and open to all and we aim to make the event welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. Set in the heart of Hanwell with a mix of pubs and green spaces, the venues have varying levels of accessibility. The Viaduct Meadow is flat, however the grass may be uneven and tricky for some mobility aids. There is very limited seating in the Meadow, other than the grass! You may bring folding camp seats into the Meadow.
The pubs have seating but they are very busy and it may be difficult for you to obtain one. The pubs are independently managed so if there is a particular venue that you wish to visit, we suggest you contact their management before the festival to see if they can assist you.
Are dogs allowed in the Viaduct Meadow?
Are picnics allowed in the Viaduct Meadow?
The festival has a Premises License which requires that all food and beverages be provided exclusively by licensed vendors on-site. No outside food or drinks may be brought into the venue by attendees. We must comply with the licensing regulations to help maintain a safe, well-managed environment throughout the event.
